If you find yourself in need before the order comes in, we now have a selection of meats available in the freezer of the vegetable stand.

THANKSGIVING TURKEYS: It’s that time again. We are now taking reservations for Thanksgiving Turkeys. The price this year it $ 8.79 per KG($ 3.99 LB) for free ranged, vegetable and grain fed Turkeys. Reservations are required. Please specify your preference in size: Small 3-5 KG (10-12 lbs), Medium 5 – 7 KG (12-15 lbs), Large 7 – 9 11 KG (16-19 lbs), XLarge 9 – 11KG – (20-25 lbs), Jumbo (25++ preference?). BLACK COD / SABLE FISH is back on the menu. We managed to secure another 50 packages. They come flash frozen with 2, 3 oz portions in a package for $ 9.95. They are currently available in the freezer of the vegetable stand. It will be first come, first served. Hopefully the order after Thanksgiving will provide us with a new seafood option. Stay tuned for details.
EGGS & DAIRY:
BeKing Eggs is a family run poultry farm. http://www.bekingseggs.com/about-our-farm.html passion is to raise chickens and provide for them in a way that enhances their well-being. They believe that heathier and happier birds produce the highest quality egg. Large, Brown eggs are $ 4.45 per dozen.
Biemond’s Upper Canada Organic Dairy is another locally run organic dairy farm. https://www.uppercanadacreamery.com/home/about/the-farm/ for now we are carrying their all natural, firm set yogurt which is $ 5.50 per 750 gm container, along with their fresh, organic cheese at $ 31.00 p/KG. One is a nice farmer’s cheese, and tastes like cheese curds. The other is combined with local organic garlic & parsley to give it a little extra yum. J Each brick is approx. 300 – 400 grams.
FRESH LOCAL CHICKEN
These chickens and parts are all grain fed & air cooled. They arrive fresh, not frozen. The smaller chickens and parts are from Gagnon, the large roasters are from Flamingo. Both producers are located in Quebec, but we now have a secondary provider in Ontario who operates the same but has a few new items to offer.

We now have an abattoir who is making pork and or beef sausages for us. They are made in small batches and are gluten and nitrate free, made from locally produced meats – real food. Packages of 4 dinner sausages or 12 breakfast sausages are Aprox. 1 lb. Pork Sausages are $ 7.50 p/LB, and Beef are $ 10.00 p/LB.
