PICK UP TIME: Between 4 and 8 PM at Acres House the red brick house on the corner of Holly Acres & Richmond Rd.

WE ARE NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS FOR CHRISTMAS TURKEYS:

These are free run turkeys that are supplemented with a mixture of vegetables and grains and come from Bearbrook. They come in several sizes: Small 3-5 KG (7 – 11 lbs) , Medium 5 – 7 KG (12 – 16 lbs), Large 7 – 9 KG (16 – 20 lbs) XL 9 – 11 KG (20 – 25 lbs) and Jumbo which are over 25 lbs. The cost is $ 8.79 p/KG or $ 4.00 p/LB. Reserve your bird early as there are a limited number of each size available.

 

FRESH LOCAL CHICKEN

These chickens and parts are all grain fed & air cooled. They arrive fresh, not frozen. The smaller chickens and parts are from Gagnon, the large roasters are from Flamingo. Both producers are located in Quebec, but we now have a secondary provider in Ontario who operates the same but has a few new items to offer.
CERTIFIED ORGANIC CHICKENS: Sold in bulk only. 8 per box weighing 30 – 35 LBS.

CHICKEN BONES: Nice, meaty carcass average 5 KGS per bag.

TURKEY

Off season turkeys come from Hayter’s who provide vegetable & grain fed, free roaming turkeys and parts.
New: WHOLE OFF SEASON TURKEY please state your size preference they are always available.
TURKEY DINNER SAUSAGES from Hayters. Package of 4 are now available in the vegetable stand.
50/50 WHITE / DARK GROUND TURKEY from Hayters. Only available in frozen bricks of 1.2 – 1.3 lbs each are also available in the vegetable stand or by order on the specified meat delivery dates.

come flash frozen. Each breast weighs approx. 1.5 KGS (Minimum order of 2)

DINNER & BREAKFAST SAUSAGES

We now have an abattoir who is making pork and or beef sausages for us. They are made in small batches and are gluten and nitrate free, made from locally produced meats – real food. Packages of 4 dinner sausages or 12 breakfast sausages are Aprox. 1 lb. Pork Sausages are $ 7.50 p/LB, and Beef are $ 10.00 p/LB.
PORK DINNER SAUSAGES: Hot, Mild, Octoberfest, Honey-Garlic, Chorizo (Spicy Italian)
PORK BREAKFAST SAUSAGES: Maple, or Blueberry
BEEF DINNER SAUSAGES: Maple – Bacon
New: HAND MADE HOT DOGS: They are formed in real casings with a mix of local beef and pork. There are no fillers, gluten or nitrates and come 8 per package.

LAMB

LEG OF LAMB: This supply is range fed. It comes from Quebec, and arrives flash frozen, but sometimes they surprise us with fresh. Each leg is an average of 3 – 5 KGS in size. We’ve had the privilege of serving this product at several of our Gathering Dinners and all the people who have attended will attest to the fact they are delicious!

We have secured a new supply of Canada AAA beef through MacGregor’s. Their beef is aged 28 – 35 days, making the taste and texture of the highest quality.
