We are now taking reservations for Christmas Turkeys, Ducks & Geese. Details are below. The next regular meat order arrives on Wednesday November 13th. The deadline for placing an order is Sunday November 10th at Midnight. EGGS & DAIRY:

BeKing Eggs is a family run poultry farm.  http://www.bekingseggs.com/about-our-farm.html passion is to raise chickens and provide for them in a way that enhances their well-being. They believe that heathier and happier birds produce the highest quality egg. Large, Brown eggs are $ 4.45 per dozen.
Biemond’s Upper Canada Organic Dairy is another locally run organic dairy farm. https://www.uppercanadacreamery.com/home/about/the-farm/ for now we are carrying their all natural, firm set yogurt which is $ 5.50 per 750 gm container.

CHRISTMAS ORDER:

CHRISTMAS TURKEYS: Are available by reservation. They are free ranged, vegetable & grain fed birds that come from Bearbrook Farms. Please state your size preference when making your reservation: Small 3-5 kg (10 – 12 lbs) Medium 5-7 kg (13 – 15 lbs) Large 7-9 kg (16-19 lbs) XL 9-11 kg (20 – 22 lbs) Jumbo over 11 kg.

DUCKS & GEESE: These are free ranged birds that will arrive frozen, not fresh as they have a different processing date.
GEESE: Average 4 kgs in size and come from a farm in Alexandria, Ontario. 
DUCKS: Average 4.5 – 5 kgs in size and come from Bearbrook Farms.

FRESH LOCAL GROUND MEATS:

Ground meats come in 5 KG or 3 KG bulk, or you can request bricks which weigh an average of 1.25 LBS

FRESH LOCAL CHICKEN:

These chickens and parts are all grain fed & air cooled. They arrive fresh, not frozen. The smaller chickens and parts are from Gagnon, the large roasters are from Flamingo. Both producers are located in Quebec, but we now have a secondary provider in Ontario who operates the same but has a few new items to offer as well as certified organic birds.

WHOLE CHICKENS: SMALL (4-4.5 LBS) OR LARGE (5.5 – 8 LBS)
BREASTS:
BONELESS & SKINLESS 5 KG Bulk or 2.5 KG for a half order
BREASTS: WITH THE BONE IN come fresh in a 5 – 6 KG bag (approx. 8-10 birds)
THIGHS: BONELESS & SKINLESS  5 KG Bulk or 2.5 KG for a half order
THIGHS: BONELESS WITH SKIN ON (Great for the BBQ) 5 KG Bulk only
THIGHS: BONE IN & SKIN ON also come in fresh in a 5 – 6 KG bag

TURKEY

Off season turkeys come from Hayter’s who provide vegetable & grain fed, free roaming turkeys and parts.
-50/50 WHITE / DARK GROUND TURKEY from Hayters. Only available in frozen bricks of 1.2 – 1.3 lbs each are also available in the vegetable stand or by order on the specified meat delivery dates. 
-TURKEY: BONELESS & SKINLESS BREASTS
come flash frozen. Each breast weighs approx. 1.5 KGS (Minimum order of 2)
-BONELESS BREASTS WITH SKIN ON approx. 1 – 1.5 KG each (Min order of 2)
-TURKEY THIGHS – BONELESS & SKINLESS approx. 1 KG in size come netted and flash frozen.
-SEASONAL FRESH, FREE RANGED: Available by reservation for Thanksgiving & Christmas come from Bearbrook. Off season turkeys come from Hayter’s who provide vegetable & grain fed, free running turkeys and parts.

LAMB

LEG OF LAMB: This supply is range fed. It comes from Quebec, and arrives flash frozen, but sometimes they surprise us with fresh. Each leg is an average of 3 – 5 KGS in size. We’ve had the privilege of serving this product at several of our Gathering Dinners and all the people who have attended will attest to the fact they are delicious!
BONELESS LEG OF LAMB: These free running sheep comes through the Ontario side of our food hub.
LAMB TENDERLOINS: Flash frozen & product of New Zealand are available on the Easter Order. This was by special request. If you would like one or two please let us know. Cheers! Tammy
